This is a GREAT Pediatric dental office!!! Staff is extremely friendly. You almost forget you're at a dental office when you walk into this place. There is an arcade area, lots of toys for kids to play with, beautiful paintings on the wall geared towards kids interests, and each patient room has a different theme. Today was my daughter's first dental visit. I have tried many times in the past to get her to see a dentist, but each time we went she didn't feel comfortable and was too scared. She was a little scared today as well. The office staff helped calm her down and the Dr. Gurr explained to my daughter step by step what he was doing and what each tool is used for In kids lingo. She even got to watch her favorite cartoon on the ceiling while they cleaned her teeth. When they were done cleaning her teeth they let her get several toys from their treasure chest. She had a great experience and is looking forward to her next check up in 6 months. Thank you Alamo Kids Dental!

Mommy can we go to the dentist office today?” Asks my 3 year old each day for three days following her appointment. Enough said. This is the best pediatric dental office in town. Friendly caring staff and a dentist who is passionate and understands kids far better than any doctor I’ve seen. They have really invested in the kid and parent (e.g., massage chairs what?!) experience and it shows!

Just moving here from out of town it is sometimes hard to know where to go. I often check on yelp before I visit a place these days (the reviews aren't always right - there are some people that aren't happy with anything and vice versa - some of the 4-5 star places aren't worthy of a good review. We are glad to have given this office a chance to care for our kids.
Alamo Kids Dental scheduled the kids for cleanings. We made a return appointment for some minor work - cavities that needed fillings and a spacer for one of the kids. Dr. Gurr and the staff were friendly and treated my kids and I with respect. They were open to conversation about what to do or not to do in regards to treatment. The office is comfortable for the kids and they really try in so many ways to reduce anxiety and make it a good experience.

We have been to a handful of different pediatric dentist offices and this is definitely the best one we have ever been to. The waiting area was so much fun, my boys asked to go back after their cleaning was finished. The staff was very friendly and Dr. Gurr was great with my kids.

I never thought before having children that there were pediatric dentists and when I was looking I thought I would give Alamo Kids Dental a try after seeing great reviews and it was the best decision I made. The dental office is very kid friendly, the staff are super nice, and Simone Ortega is the dental assistant who has helped during our visits and has been nothing but great along with Dr. Gurr being so kind and giving me proper education about the importance of keeping my daughters teeth healthy. I am glad to have found Alamo Kids Dental and recommend it to all!

I was recommended to this practice by a friend after sharing about my child's bad experience at another dentist and WOW I am so thankful she shared this gem with me. Every single staff member we've encountered has been warm and welcoming, and the two dentists (Dr. Gonzalez and Dr. Gurr) are clearly very passionate about making sure your child has a positive dental experience.
My son had his second dental visit today and Dr. Gonzalez and Amanda were amazing and so sweet to him. Since we had a bad experience at our previous practice, he was pretty scared of the dentist but they made him so calm and happy that he actually sat through the entire cleaning on his own!
The amazing staff would be enough for me to recommend them even if they had the most plain, boring waiting room but thankfully they also have a fun waiting room with games as well as different themed dental rooms. Just a great experience and I'm so grateful for what they do and to know my kids will grow up having a good association with the dentist!
